2012 Recap - JV boys lacrosse rolled to a final 5-3 record Friday after a tumultuous up and down season. Despite having low numbers, the boys were enthusiastic and determined. The defense was anchored by Anthony Rizzo with solid appearances by R.J. Stein and Derek Light (who also filled in the goal for our last game). Midfield efforts were lead by Ben Sysler, Andrew Booth, who had a great season at the face-off dot, John Choi, Richard Erlandson and Sam Esposito. On attack, the Bucs featured Kyle Sabath, Brush Kirby and Cooper Clark, a freshman trio who will continue to contribute to the Blair lacrosse program in years to come. The boys worked hard all season on improving their skills, and I look forward to seeing them develop in the future. |
