Junior Parents’ Day 2003

Bill Conley speaking to parents in Armstrong-Hipkins Center for the Arts.

Junior Parents’ Day took place at Blair Academy on Saturday, January 25, 2003. This event is an informative program for parents of juniors to help ready them for the college process which lies ahead.

Bill Conley, the Dean of Enrollment Services at Johns Hopkins, gave a talk on Five Ways Not To Be Admitted to a Selective College, which went over very well with parents. The rest of the morning’s program included a student panel, a question and answer session and an explanation of the College Office’s role in the admissions process given by Lew Stival, Dean of College Counseling. All told, the morning was quite successful.
