The 7th Annual NEMA’s Come to Blair

The 7th Annual New England Mid-Atlantic Invitational Tennis Tournament (NEMA’s) was held on April 26-27 at Blair Academy. Over the past few years the tournament has gained the reputation of being one of the premier high school boys’ tennis tournaments in the country. Sixteen teams from seven different states participated in the event. After a rainy 14-hour day of tennis on Saturday at Lehigh University, the semifinal and final matches were concluded at Blair on Sunday with Milton Academy (Milton, MA) being crowned team champion with 24.5 total points. University School (Hunting Valley, OH) finished in 2nd place with 22.5 points. The Dwight School (New York, NY) finished in 3rd place with 19.5 total points.
