The Singers Perform Their Fall Concert

The Blair Academy Singers and Concert Choir performed their fall concert on Thursday, November 14, 2002 in the DuBois Theatre of Armstrong-Hipkins Center for the Arts.

Conducted by Christopher Eanes and accompanied by Kathy Shanklin on the piano, the singers’ repertoire included such numbers as “Since First I Saw Your Face” by Thomas Ford, “Cast Thy Burden Upon Thy Lord” and “Am Neujahrstage” by Mendelssohn, and an arrangement of Shakespeare’s words to music by Chris Eanes called “Under the Greenwood Tree.” The Singers and Concert Choir ended their performance with the quintet from West Side Story, “Tonight” by Leonard Bernstein.
