Blair Represented at Freddy Awards

Molly McAdoo ’05

The 2004 Freddy Awards, sponsored in May by the historic State Theatre in Easton, Pa., featured a number of Blair’s performing artists, including Jonathan Kruse ’05, Molly McAdoo ’05, Dahlia Sandnes ’05 and Jonathan Slawson ’05, who appeared in the opening production number with over 100 students. The Freddys, which recognize outstanding achievement in high school musical theatre, are bestowed in 20 different categories, with four special presentations, and include students from 27 schools in Lehigh (Pa.), Northampton (Pa.) and Warren (N.J.) Counties.

According to Performing Arts Chair Craig Evans, Molly McAdoo was nominated as a best actress. Craig noted, “Molly performed an excerpt from “The Last Midnight” from Into the Woods and thoroughly wowed them. Her singing was outstanding!”
