May 20 is “Learn to Row Day”

The Blair Academy crew team will host a Crew Open House: Learn to Row Day on Thursday, May 20, with participants departing for Lake Swartswood around 3:30 p.m. The crew team will teach faculty, staff and students who are interested in the sport. Head crew coach Dale Hurley notes, “The coaching staff will help, but a majority of the coaching will be done by the student rowers. It should be a lot of fun and hopefully the right time for someone to learn about the sport of rowing first hand.”
