Spring Arts Weekend 2004

Blair held its Spring Arts Weekend for the second year in a row from April 28 through May 2. The event kicked off mid-week when the Blair Academy Players presented Thornton Wilder’s Our Town in the Robert J. Evans Open Air Theatre. School Chaplain Peter Amerman offered a blessing upon the brand-new outdoor facility next to Blair Lake on opening night. The theatre is named in memory of the father of Craig Evans, performing arts department chairman.

The spring showcase continued – along with some of the best weather seen this season – with instrumental, dance and vocal concerts, a video presentation and the opening of the student art exhibition. Class visitations, athletic competitions and a family barbecue were also part of the weekend’s events.
