Benton Connor’s Art on Display

Benton Connor ’05 was on hand to greet guests at an artist’s reception of his work currently on display in the canteen (a.k.a. “The Can”). “Many of the pieces are concentration projects,” said Benton. “Some are political statements as well.” All will be available for viewing throughout the month of November.
This year and last, Benton’s caricatures of faculty members appeared in the academic day planner used by the Blair community. His work entitled, “Autumn at Blair,” an oil pastel (18" x 24"), depicts the familiar scene of Blair’s front hill ablaze with fall color and graces the cover of both the current arts calendar and the fall alumni magazine.
Benton plans to pursue his talents at an art school next year.
