Crazy for Karaoke

The Blair Singers organized “Blairican Idol,” a karaoke singing contest, this past weekend, injecting a bit of fun into the January doldrums. First place (a $100 prize) went to Hector Maquieira ’05, while Dylan Evans ’08 and J.P. Bowditch ’08 took second place ($50 prize). Third place went to Dana Williams and Sean Hoskins (faculty). The Hurley brothers, sons of Beth and Dale Hurley (faculty), made a strong showing. The talented singers were judged by faculty members Ryan Wehmeyer ’99, Kate Sykes and Dale Phelps ’96.
