Carm Mazza Celebrates 15 Years at Blair
Carm Mazza, general manager of dining services and assistant dean of residential life, celebrates 15 years of service to the Blair community. He joined Blair Academy Dining Services (Wood Company/Sodexho) in March 1990 as assistant director and was later promoted to director of dining services. Six years ago, Carm was named general manager of dining services and his responsibilities expanded to include overseeing the housekeeping department at Blair.
For many years, he worked in Insley Hall; in September 2002, he became Housemaster of Insley. Carm continues to divide his time between the dining hall and the dorm. He can be found on any given day taking attendance during lunch and trying to remember every student’s name!
In September 2004, Carm was named assistant dean of residential life. Carm has always been very dedicated to the Blair community and is well liked by students, faculty and staff. Though he resides on campus, Carm is originally from Scranton, Penn., and continues to visit his family there as often as possible.
