Students Celebrate Chinese Moon Festival
In recent years, Chinese teacher Susan Kramer has helped ease the homesickness of international students by treating them to a full moon festival. Games and Chinese food including moon cake are all part of the fun.
The Chinese Moon Festival, also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival, is one of the most important traditional events for the Chinese. The Moon Festival is an occasion for family reunions when the full moon rises, families get together to watch the full moon, eat moon cakes and sing moon poems.
