Model U.N. Students Unite in City of Brotherly Love

Faculty members including Marty Miller, Jason Beck and Andrew Sykes accompanied 25 Blair students to the Ivy League Model U.N. in Philadelphia in January. The Blair contingency represented both Kuwait and Albania on a variety of U.N. committees dealing with issues ranging from arms control and industrial pollution, to terrorism and child prostitution. Each delegate wrote an initial position paper prior to the conference and then worked on resolutions aimed at solving various problems.

Blair was among 70 schools attending the Model U.N. Students participating included Geoffrey Weyl, Timothy Bacon, Justin Waldman, Sara Jerome, Jason Landro, Rachel Tarrats, Grace Huntley, Alison Crevi, Christine Roemer, Lee Shand, Kathy Kim, Erik Wilburn, Kyle Turner, Madeline Johnson, Justin Lubliner, Lejla Agic, Steven Brandwood, Tyler Pruce, Jaclyn Donohue, Christopher Palmisano, Jennifer Chazanow, Leopold Bonisese, Ian Jefferson, James Lee and Alison Mandelker-Burnett.
