Passover Celebrated by Various Faiths at Blair
On April 25, 17 Blair faculty and students of various religious faiths gathered together for the third annual celebration of the Jewish holiday of Passover at Blair. Spanish Teacher Sara Kaufman, who coordinated the event, noted, “Passover celebrates the Exodus from Egypt in order to escape slavery. Each student read aloud to help retell the story of Passover. At the end of the service we shared a celebratory meal; most of the food served represented some part of the story.”
She added, “In addition to the outstanding food prepared by Blair’s Dining Service, special thanks are due to the parents who contributed to the Seder. The Seder was a great success, and I hope that this event will remain an annual event at Blair.”
