Loredano Poletti Photography On Display

An artist’s opening reception took place on November 18, in the Romano Gallery of Armstrong-Hipkins Center for the Arts for photographer Loredano Poletti.

Loredano Poletti’s travels and his surroundings provide the subject matter for his landscapes and streetscapes, but it is his career as an engineer that offers insight on the way he sees things. “It is my great pleasure to apply to photography the structuralism that was my way of life as an engineer.” Mr. Poletti has taken classes at Peters Valley and the Newark Museum to broaden his knowledge of black and white printing and has set up a dark room at his Andover, N.J., home where he does all of his own printing.

To read more about Loredano Poletti and view a sample of his photography, or to see a list of upcoming exhibitors, please go to the Romano Gallery page of the Performing & Fine Arts section of the Web site.
