Benefit Tourney a Great Success

See more photos below.

The Blair Academy Coaches vs. Cancer Tournament, which featured some of the nation’s top players from some of the best East Coast prep schools playing high-level basketball, raised $2,000 over the weekend of December 10. Many of the players competing in the tournament will also compete at area colleges and universities in the future.

Six teams from four different states participated in this year’s tournament in Walker Gymnasium at Blair Academy. All proceeds from the tournament are given in memory of David Jamieson (a Blair faculty member who died this fall) and benefit the Coaches vs. Cancer Fund, which teams up the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches to win the fight against cancer. updated 12/13
